The 21 Blog Program – Increase Your Traffic Now

Posted by: mark on June 19, 2010

A while back a very kind man named Alex Whalley wrote about 12 blogs that he regularly visits so I decided to add to his (excellent) list. Originally, I had added 8 more. Since then some things had changed, so I updated it and reposted it. I hope that you find it helpful. Have a great day!

Alex’s list included The infopreneur, Scott Barron Online, Bloggers Market, Karen Ruby, Jean Sarauer, Sally Neil, Brandon Connell, Joshua Black, Mars Dorian, Matthew Needham, and Mike Roosa.

Every one of the blogs he mentioned is great for traffic building, as is his own. And that is great, but those blogs are also filled with great content, which is the best reason to visit each of them!

Eight, well…Seven More

Nick’s writing at sitesketch101.com and at nicholascardot.com

is genuine, insightful and practical. In these blogs, he focuses on blogging and leadership respectively.

Kiesha at weblogbetter.com

writes about blogging. Well, except that her writing is flavored with openness and realness that makes it seem very conversational. Plus, she is a really nice person.

Hesham at famousbloggers.com

has an extraordinarily active community which takes part in the content writing for his site. Their posts are generally blogging and on-line community building.

John at intelligentproductivity.com

writes about being productive & why that is important. But don’t expect him to just give you to do lists. His ideas are much more developed and useful in real life.

Ben at 6aliens.com

writes about personal motivation and problem solving. He has an inspirational voice & 6aliens.com always seems to have something on it that makes me think.

Maren at escapingthe9to5.com

writes about entrepreneurship. Well, and her desires to get a free chair. The content on escapingthe9to5.com is mostly about breaking away from the binds of an employer and making it yourself. The great thing is that she seems to know what she is talking about.

Hi, Mark. Thank you for the ‘remention.’ :)

How is it that I’ve never checked out Famous Bloggers before? I shall be remedying that shortly.

One blog I’ve especially been enjoying lately is Website in a Weekend. He’s got a great mix of nuts-and-bolts stuff, as well as a nice mix of interviews, inspiration, and what-have-you. Wonder if anyone has ever put “what-have-you” as one of their blog categories? :)

  2. I am familiar with and like SiteSketch101, and I also like ViperChill.com which is not on your list. You should probably add that one.

      Hi Brandon,

I have been to viperchill.com before, but it was some time ago… Ok, just went back – wow – a GREAT blog! Lots of meaty Internet marketing content + he seems to know what he is talking about! Very nice.

      Thanks for the suggestion!

    Hi Mark,

Great additions! I know most of them, but you’ve introduced me to some new ones, so thank you. I’ll be checking them out.

I’m so glad that you mentioned the part about the great content – it’s not all about building the traffic! :-)

    Thanks,

      Hey Karen!

I appreciate that. :) There are so many great blogs out there & so many interesting ideas from the writers – it is really a shame that it seems like some people just scan a post and leave a comment for “google credits” or whatever.

Watch out for that rain & have a GREAT weekend!
