These Are My Goals For the Week. What Are Yours?

I am going to post weekly about my weekly goals, mostly just so I can remember. I keep getting caught up in things that are not really helping (like games and reading about kings – quite dorky, I know), so it is good to have a list of goals.

This week has taught me that sometimes I need to not worry so much about how to blog (that one’s for you, Nick) as how to finish writing a post. So, here goes -

Focus on content

This week I will be writing about seemingly unrelated subjects such as Michael Landon, playgrounds, and excellence in the frame of productivity. You think that sounds odd? Yeah, I am not sure how I am going to do it yet. What can I say? I like a challenge.

I may talk about Twitter a bit too just because I am enamored with it right now. There are so many different ways that people use it – it is really amazing. Anyway, this is not a post about Twitter. What else am I going to do this week?

Increase the number of daily visitors

To increase traffic, I will… Well, I am not sure just yet, but I know that I will be reading an ebook called “Six Figure Blogger Blueprint” in the hopes that it will help me to get some traffic.

Of course, I don’t expect that I will get an any-figure income from blogging this week, but I have seen David Risley‘s name on a few of the blogs that I found this past week, so I am willing to give his ebook a shot. I will also continue to post comments on blogs that I read every day.

My Stats

I won’t be reading these until the 19th of May. I know that is probably wrong, but who has the time to read those weekly?

Your Turn

So, what do you think of my goals for the week? What are yours?
